[Year count: 165] We're heading west again, to check on the Malone household at 17 Gal Road, Sunny Fields, Gal district.
Everet and Ursa Malone were discussing the future of this place. Steven, their youngest son, did move out as he married to Bellamy van Hutch, next door. Not far away, but still leaving the family business and flower production to their eldest son, Syrup.
That's right. Syrup has managed the Malone Flower Market for a period already, and Ursa had heard that some customers got their plants without being charged the cost. Syrup was simply absent-minded and not quite a business man.
Steven and Bellamy resides in the yellow stilt house (you might recall Ursa and Syrup paid the new neighbours a visit 10 years ago). Bellamy's old mum is dead by now, but her dad, the artist, is still around. You can see the Malone house in the distance.
Ursa is family oriented, and naturally she secured a wedding photo of Steven and Bellamy. By the way, Steven got the van Hutch family name, because these days the spouse owning a home will normally bring on the surname. And it makes it easier for us all if the households don't switch names all the time.
So, this is a view from the harbour, facing City. You see the Flower Market down there. The Malone family's blue car is parked there, meaning Syrup should be around. The market could easily be packed with more plants, but I need to think about lagging too.
Ah, there he is...
That's Timara Onioon, she is the girl who stalked Syrup for many years. When Timara was a child, she wanted to become Syrup's girlfriend although he was already a teen. And when Syrup reached young adult, the teenager Timara joined him at Bono's Gym, and they swam in the pool, both fully dressed.
That's right, they are both insane... most would think they could both do better with a sane partner...
The teen on these pictures is Timara's younger sister, not really that interested in following her stalking sister...
Timara suggested they had some coffee and tea at Chez Ludmilla, right there at Similius Square. And so they did, and suddenly Syrup realized that Timara was the prettiest woman he had ever seen, and he hardly could think of anything to say.
While he was sitting there, confused customers wanted to buy plants at the Flower Market, they saw the owner's blue car, but not the owner. So, there probably was some loss that day... hm, that day, too.
Soon after, Syrup walked over to Onioon Farm, where Timara resided with her parents and two sisters, and there he proposed to her. She moved in with Syrup, Ursa and Everet, and well, she happens to be Evil, so it wasn't just a smooth change.
First of all she thought that Ursa and Everet should leave the house to Syrup and Timara, either by moving elsewhere, or into the empty stable.
Ursa always dreamed of living in a high rise apartment in City, and that way also live farther away from the First Beach and Monastery of Similius. Ursa still thought of the twins she gave up, secretly, long ago. Thanks Similius she knew the Onioon family well enough to know that Timara was not the little baby girl she once held in her arms. What if Syrup had married his half sister? The twins were probably just teens, though.
But Everet refused to move anywhere as Syrup would need help with the business and Timara had already proved no talent for growing plants. Timara dreamed about joining the Military, but no women were allowed there, yet. So instead she accepted a job as a Nurse at Constant Hope Hospital.
(Edit: hfr... Syrup must be the most absent-minded guy I ever saw - he talks about Bellamy - his brother's wife next door, while he actually meant his own wife, Timara! No wonder Timara gives him a confused look - sigh. (okay okay, I did mess things up on that photo text - sorry!)
And yes, Timara had already met all the so called alien kids. Poor kids with single mums, because their dad was some alien. Some time ago several young women were abducted, then left up at Moon Mountain. One of them was a poor, angry woman named Misty Fogdale, giving birth to a daughter with alien DNA. A complicated case because the angry mother refused to take any advice from doctors or nurses.
Syrup and Timara might be an interesting couple to follow. They love to do their insane things, like bathing in the fountain in front of the Town Hall at night, run naked up the old Brugster Tower to drink nectar while watching the ghost populating the cemetery down there, or to throw onions at bypassing sims - again from the old Brugster Tower. Sorry I didn't catch any pictures from those sessions...
Next up: The angry Misty Fogdale of the Dump!
